BC|MultiQTL Module

BCMultiQTL is an additional module for our BC|SNPmax solution, designed for storage and analysis of large amounts of phenotype-like variables.

With the BC|MultiQTL module available for BC|SNPmax customers, it is possible to conduct quantitative genome-wide association or other studies using practically unlimited number of phenotypes. Typical application is eQTL, where expression values are used as quantitative phenotypes. Other applications might include numerical data produced by automated measuring or image reading techniques.

BC|MultiQTL Module features:

• Storage of massive amounts of phenotype-like variables (like expression values for eQTL) in numerical format
• Automated parallel analysis of stored values in conjunction with genotype data, for example in genome-wide quantitative association analysis
• Possibility to analyze stored data as such or together with phenotype data using R scripts
