BC|Enterprise Research Database Platform to optimize research data management at the Center for Molecular Medicine at Karolinska Institutet

BC Platforms Ltd announces a multi-year partnership to enhance clinical and genetic research data management and analysis at the Center for Molecular Medicine at Karolinska Institutet (CMM). BC Platforms will implement their BC|Enterprise Research Database Platform in to the existing CMM IT infrastructure. The centrally installed platform will improve the management, secure storage, sharing and analysis of research data, further accelerating the collaboration among the research groups at CMM. CMM connects 400 employees from the largest university hospital and medical university in Sweden - Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institutet. Aside from the BC|Enterprise Research Database Platform, this partnership provides both parties an excellent environment to collaborate, learn and further develop solutions for research data management and analysis. Biocomputing Platforms to provide data management for the European-wide LUPA dog genetics project

The 16 million euro LUPA project is being conducted be a consortium of 20 research groups at European veterinary schools and universities. Researching canine genetics, the LUPA project's work will have applications for advancing the study of human disease genetics.
