BC Platforms Appoints Alex Ide to Lead UK Sales of Precision Medicine Services

BC Platforms (BCP), a global leader in healthcare data management and analytics, today announces the appointment of Alex Ide as the company’s Executive Vice President (EVP) of Sales for the UK.

In this pivotal role, Alex will be overseeing the customer-facing work underpinning the company’s commercial success through acquisition of new clients in a major market pioneering precision medicine. BC Platforms’ vision is to build a world leading analytics platform and data access service offering that enables the advancement of RWD usage by the pharmaceutical industry for their research processes.

Working closely with BCP’s leadership, and using his deep UK market expertise, Alex will drive the development and implementation of the company’s commercial strategy, which will accelerate BCP’s UK sales growth, and enhance the value clients receive from the company’s wide range of services.

Alex is based in the South West of England, and is a healthcare executive with 20 years of experience in tech start-ups, large multinationals, and private partnerships. Alex has operated in functional leadership and business development roles across the scientific and commercial spectrums with global, regional, and national level clients at pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies. Prior to BC Platforms, Alex worked at Prospection, IQVIA, and ZS. Alex holds an MChem Chemistry degree from The Queen’s College, University of Oxford.
